Sendcloud raises $177 million for its all-in-one shipping platform
Eindhoven-based startup Sendcloud and leader in e-commerce shipping services, has today raised $177 million in a Series C led by Softbank Vision Fund 2 making it by far the biggest investment raised by Sendcloud. L Catterton and HPE Growth have also participated in the round.
Founded in 2012 by Bas Smeulders, Rob van den Heuvel, Sabi Tolou, Sendcloud helps online retailers to save time on shipping and at the same time increase conversion by optimizing their checkout, offering branded tracking and a seamless return process for both businesses and consumers. The platform is already being used by 23,000 merchants, including Gelato, Rosefield, Shoeby and Subdued.

Sendcloud directly manages shipments with all major European carriers, offering a wide range of shipping methods, including cross-border shipping, delivery in parcel lockers, same-day delivery, and even delivery during a day and timeslot of choice. Additionally, the company offers access to over 400,000 service points across Europe, enabling customers to pick up their parcel at their most preferred parcel shop. Sendcloud’s technology transforms e-commerce logistics by replacing multiple Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with a single solution, bringing a seamless delivery experience to both consumers and retailers.
