Customer experience SaaS platform Contentsquare has closed $500 million in Series E led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2

SaaS customer experience platform Contentsquare that enables brands create better experiences on web, mobile and apps, has announced the closing of a $500 million in a Series E funding round. Led by Softbank Vision Fund 2 and with existing investors Eurazeo, KKR, Highland Europe, BlackRock, Canaan Partners and Bpifrance also participating. This capital brings the total funding raised to date to $810 million and the company is now valued at $2.8 billion.

The funding will be used to further develop its platform as well as accelerate the firm’s growth, with the firm reporting revenue growth rate of 121% within 4 years, and the continuation of its strategic M&A (Dareboost and AdaptMyWeb acquisitions) and further expand globally prioritizing towards Asia market and mainly China. The capital is expected to boost even more their team rooster with more than 1500 new jobs planned over the next 3 years.

Contentsquare provides a platform that analyzes customer behavior through billions of anonymous web, mobile and app interactions analyzing $1.5 billion in transactions daily, in respect of data privacy laws, transforming this knowledge into intelligent recommendations for users to increase revenue, engagement and growth. Customer experience data such as content, UX, product, pricing, acquisition channel and performance are being integrated into the platform to provide all the necessary insights to offer an improved and successful customer journey.
